The D2 medical centre is first and foremost a general family practice, however it has a major interest in travel vaccines with over 180 countries listed on its data base on the site. It also provides a centre of excellence in health screening, STD screening, family planning and sports medicine.
The centre has over 3000 square feet of medical office space and consulation rooms making it one of the largest in all of Dublin. This new facility is state of the art in bringing excellence in medical care to the heart of Dublin.
The Medical director of the facility is Dr John J Ryan. Dr Ryan is a graduate of university college Galway. He went on to do the western training scheme in psychiatry and the vocational GP training scheme. Dr Ryan is a founder member of D doc Dublin doctors on call, and writes for several national newspapers in Ireland weekly health columns on general family practice. Dr Ryan has full medical registration with the Irish medical council and full professional medical idemnity insurance with the medical protection society.
